That's a little lower than what I expected.
We need to remember that the 535xi starts at $54,000.
And who knows where Gen2 SRX will start at as well. GM needs to be careful about potential overlap and cannibalization, thought I don't think there will be much.

goat when i brought up the issue of rear visibility I wasn't referring so much to typical driving situations (though many drivers ed classes will teach using the mirrors and then a glance to the rear before changing lanes) i was referring more so to parking situations like backing out of a driveway backing into a parking space, and of course parallel parking. the chunky D pillars do create several blindspots and i hope caddy addresses this issue with either a back up camera or some other form of parking assist to make parking easier.

There will be a camera for backing up .

I would say that's gotta depend on which of the 3 CTS suspension set-ups you've got.

I suspect that the G8's Zeta platform and the CTS's Sigma platforms are actually fairly close cousins. Indeed, they're set to become siblings in the next generations.

DID ANYONE ELSE NOTICE the extensive console poking visible in the shot of the back seat? Looks like they're going to give the back seat passengers full control of everything.
