Re: Lock & Load: CTS-V to go hunting in Europe after all

This car is the right product...... the dealer distribution seems to be the main issue for Cadillac's success in Europe.

Then again, why is Lexus not doing well in Europe or Jaguar? Perhaps it is becouse you cannot get $20,000.00 Jaguars, Lexus or Cadillac, but can get Mercedes and BMW and Audi competing with the likes of Opel, and high end Chevy's?
Jaguar has 3 models. And they're not cheap.
Lexus and Cadillac face an uphill battle due to the fierce nationalistic attitudes in Europe. But Lexus has made more headway than Cadillac.

You think sales of A and B class Mercedes is going to matter in the grand scheme of things?
Put it into perspective.... BMW sells over 600,000 3-series worldwide. THat's almost 2x the global sales of the entire Cadillac lineup.

THe seats aren't old school.
