Can't wait to see a pic of one racing around on the autobahn.

Re: Lock & Load: CTS-V to go hunting in Europe after all
Europe is basically what the car's built for in the first place. So what if they only make 10 of them available. They have to sell there. It's the spiritual home of the super-sedan.
And I'm with you, ATPeele - Clarkson's opinion's going to be interesting. He's been showing grudging signs of liking a few American cars lately. Like the last CTS-V. |

Re: Lock & Load: CTS-V to go hunting in Europe after all
I figured it was some sort of misunderstanding. It'd be dumb not to take it to Europe, esp. Germany and the autobahns.
And with the way it handles, the way it's torn up the 'ring and that new interior it should get a nice warm welcome. Maybe even Clarkson will like it. |

I predict that in the very near future it won't be punishing ride dynamics that win the day but comfort and if Cadillac can deliver the ULS so as to meet the need of those wanting power and comfort they'll do well to again reach for Standard of the World. I also figure we'll know Top Gear's general slant towards the CTS once they've reviewed the regular CTS. (I haven't seen a review, yet). However, this recent post at least shows an interest in comparing the V to its proper competitors. At least they know what the CTS competes against in Europe, if our "media' here can't figure it out. |

Good. GM isn't as stupid as initially believed. They're only slightly less stupid.
Still wish CTS-V was RHD capable though.

ok, it appears GM stands for General Motors
![]() Please DO NOT bring the Clarkson on every possible occasion. Not all Europeans wear creased shirts and wash their hair once a year.

Re: Lock & Load: CTS-V to go hunting in Europe after all
Very good, now they have to price it right and advertise it so that people know that it exists. If potential customers see an ad of the CTS-V they would also be interested in the regular version. As a next step they would need some more dealers in Europe so that you dont have to travel 200km to see a Cadillac in a showroom and the same distance to bring it to service...
