Live Shots, New Information on CTS Coupe

Live Shots, New Information on CTS Coupe
Cadillac shows GMI it's latest...the CTS Coupe
www.gminsidenews.com
December 1, 2009
By: Nick Saporito

Earlier today Cadillac showed us the 2011 CTS Coupe here in Los Angeles ahead of the show. Cadillac management was on hand to relay some details of the car that were unclear prior to today, so below is an outline of the new information.
  • There will be a V-Series Coupe and Sport Wagon. This was confirmed numerous times today.
  • The CTS-V Coupe will have subtle design cue differences versus the regular Coupe. One that was noted is that the CHMSL will be larger on the V Coupe to assist in downward drag.
  • The Coupe has an electronic parking brake, something that is currently not featured on the sedan.
  • The trunk has goose-neck hinges and is decently sized.
  • Rear seats do fold down.

Those door handles should be standard across the CTS line.

Looks pretty good to me.

I'd like to see it in black.

Those pics were snapped right before GM's announcement that the CTS Coupe was ousted and replaced with Ed Whitacre.

Looking at how the rear is structured, it appears as though GM had no choice but to go with goosenecks.

I loved them on the Vette and XLR. Glad it is making its way down.

Looks great overall but the speakers on the back seat side panels look cheap.

There is always an option to go down to best buy and replace them with worth replacements
