That is true. I guess stupid enough to reelect the current administration.

Rapid fire ads with each and every award being flashed on the screen, "Best this", Best that, Most this, Most that" kind of things being narrated.

"You makes these leading cars and trucks..." the narrator says...Then fade to a GM logo with its brands listed below. "GM, where quality thrives" or something along that line. Flash and style sell, and like you said maybe even a little trash talkin too
At least take those products that have a certrain amount of appeal and build exciting advertising around them; and, work like he--to make the remainder class leaders.

I agree. I think most people think "heartless bitch" in reference to Martha. For a LOT of people I know, her name on something simply de-values the item.

So here Buick goes again, paying a 'celebrity' untold dollars to do what? Maintain the same level of sales that they've had for years?

I suggest the following spokesmen:
CHEVY: BOB DYLAN
PONTIAC: RUBBER BAND MAN from the Office Max ads.
SATURN: The BURGER KING KING. Or the Honda robot.
BUICK: LITTLE RICHARD and CHER
CADILLAC: CHUBBY CHECKER or FATS DOMINO.
SAAB: JOHN KERRY
HUMMER: Who else, AHHNOLD!

I'd like to thank all the little people I stepped on to get to the top.
But seriously, folks, who else would try to get his wife elected so that he could have another term...er...chance at the babes ? Oh, wait. George had Lurleen Clinton...er...Wallace. I remember. But she WON.

Huge, easy to understand controls with large fonts instead of cryptic symbols. Make the thing ride super smooth and quiet. OnStar standard and comfy seats for all. Do everything to make a senior citizen comfy and safe....they will come. Any other strategy will just be competing with Chevy, Cadillac or Pontiac Products. Buick needs to grab all of those Mercury and Lincoln buyers. It's the same demographic. Oh yeah......I am not knocking seniors.....I am only about 10 years from wanting a Buick myself.

You've got it, and that approach would appeal. Give the buyers with the motivation the reason to buy. You can chase all the others out there, and lose what you already-have. I am surprised GM doesn't know that!

Martha Stewart probably knows as much about cars as Tiger Woods. LOL and ROF (rolling on floor).

You do know that Bob Dylan is already a spokesman for Cadillac? Go to cadillac.com in the video area and you can download the Dylan commercials for the Escalade. They're actually pretty cool.

How is his diction? When he says "Cadillac" does it come out Chamdilliac?

Did anyone answer?

There's also a thread about Tahoe and Suburban in this forum. Go figure.
