There is virtually no interest in the STS here in Europe, why do you think
the SLS will do any better?

Those pictures depress me every time I see them.

But hey, our STS got a new grill.

Agreed. A RWD BLS replacement is at least a good start. Nobody here has
been fooled by the Saab based BLS. In fact I've never seen even one
on the road. The local Cadillac dealer in Helsinki has plenty on his lot and no
takers. GM hasn't put enough effort into it's offerings to sway the
locals away from MB and BMW.

Re: Cadillac SLS joins portofolio in middle east

Such a shame there is no way to get this product over here. I would love to see the SLS replace both the STS and DTS in the short term until we get a "new" replacement made. I think it would be a nice intermediate product. They could even call it STS-L or something to distinquish it.

Alas, we dont' call teh shots -- and its not feasible.

If our STS was this car GM would have much less of an issue moving them.

I could go on about SLS popping up everywhere but here...........but what im really wondering about is what Holden thinks of this?? Their (rebadged) models (including the WM Statesman if im not mistaken) sell pretty well over there.......

I agree that this should at least be an option in the states, if not the replacement for the STS altogether

off topic, how does someone NEW to GMI get to post articles in the news area of the site right off the bat?
They don't. Articles are posted in the Suggest a News Article area and moved from there.

A couple of years ago, there was this talk of a sixteen.

Now they want to put the SRX on a Chevy chassis and only seem to be investing in the $35K and less price class. The CTS is the best Cadillac. It seems that they don't even want to build a big car anymore.

Cadillac is turning into Acura, which I have no respect for.

Two years is a heck of a long time for an underwhelming product to sit on Cadillac lots when a solution is readily available.

All they need now is an ottoman, massaging rear seat/s and oscillating fans and I'd really be jealous.

We've all been pissed about this for the longest time. We just gave up.. Even the Chinese Park Avenue, in case you didn't notice, is nicer than our Cadillacs in North America.
