You could have pulled this off in the U.S., but Europe is much more critical about their cars. This is why Jaguar is under so much scrutiny for using the Mondeo platform for the X-type. Ford had to design a whole new Focus to get the European market to acknowledged their efforts. The whole moral to story: Don't let American Executives dictate European marketing strategy. I very much doubt this car will be any significance in Europe.

thats a pretty cool thing cadillacs doing. i like the style of the bls as well as many others do to. so i think that the cars going to bid pretty high just to have one.

This will obviously be the way to launch the Camaro. Having Vin# endng in ###00001.

The BLS could over well in the States. An enty level Cadillac other than the CTS, and probably priced in the low $20ks.

That's more or less what GM does, but their garage is called Trollhattan

Anyway, good way to generate positive publicity for BLS after a string of poor reviews. Which is not to say this car won't flop - it will (which is why GM has set sales targets so low, to be able to claim success after all).

AH yes the experts speak....let's take toyota first the cmry,no the avalon no the ess350...yeah the same chassis...oops almost forgot the highlander oh ya the 4 runner and the lexus whatever that's a rebadge ...please when you search to complain about GM stop searching for reasons.....all car companies are guilty of the same thing but I not sure if its guilt or a good snow job that the public particpates in ...you know like the WMD in Iraq ....rebadged terror and WE BOUGHT IT
