I think that is pretty good pricing, right on target. For 3K I would easily go for the Luxury II package, sounds worth it to me.

Re: Cadillac DTS Pricing

It's a really good deal, and much lower than I would have guessed, undercutting most other V-8 luxury cars.

Re: Cadillac DTS Pricing

That really will put a squeeze on Lucerne prices, seeing as the Park Avenue was priced up into the low $40ks.

Am I correct in interpreting that DVD navigation is only available on the performance package?

Re: Cadillac DTS Pricing

The DTS should be Caddy's top-of-the-line car to compete with the LS430,BM7 series, etc.

Re: Cadillac DTS Pricing

I think the DTS's main competitors are the Town Car and LS430.

That's the rumoured ULS.

The DTS is the "Let's not repeat the Oldsmobile mistake and send all the loyal Cadillac buyers to Lincoln" car.

Re: Cadillac DTS Pricing

well, it is probably more appealing than the lexus, until the ls460 gets here. can't pit it against the bmw 7 series, the bimmer is more $$$ and performs like it. 5 sp automatic and AWD would be a great touch here. i think this price means that buick will have to offer the lucerne for a little less $$ than originally planned.
question, will the dts be as quiet as the lucerne? does buick have a lock on the quiet tuning?

I hope the lucerne v8 tops out in the upper 30s, otherwise it will get eaten alive by the Avalon.
