Steering column is an odd color. I hope that's not a key ignition below the switchgear.
Considering the far cheaper Epsilon II cars and the next Cobalt have keyless ignitions, I highly doubt the BRX will have a key.

Re: Caddy BRX interior shot

That's not a bad interior at all. I certainly can't wait to see the production release photos of this Caddy. And I can more than bet it'll do better than the RDX...though I can't say anything about teh Lexus RX since I hear it's moving up in size, beyond BRX territory.

Either way, it'll tromp its Japanese lux competitors.

There are 4 engine choices but unconfirmed which ones are coming in which vehicle, and which ones will be sold in NA.
But the engines are:
3.0L 6-cyl for 260hp
2.8L V6 turbo for 300hp
2.0L 4-cyl turbo diesel for 190hp
2.9L 6-cyl turbo diesel for 250hp

they are targeting the RX and X3 as benchmarks.

features include:
-push button ignition
-rake and telescopic steering column
-front and rear park assist
-rear camera
-tri-zone hvac
and more...

I like the CTS style pop-up nav. I wonder what that center gauge is gonna be.

Re: Caddy BRX interior shot

It's the same parts out of the CTS...

Why does Cadillac need a warmed over VUE when a CTS wagon is on the way and fuel prices are shooting up?

Same reason BMW, Mercedes, and Audi need SUVs despite having fantastic wagons in various sizes on the other side of the pond.

Supposedly. GM is on the record as saying keys are on the way out through the whole lineup.

Why does Mercedes need the M and the E Wagon? Or why does BMW need the 5-series wagon and the X3/X5?

If you say, "well fuel prices weren't high at the time they came out with theirs." Well, 1) direct me to a source stating either company is canceling ANY SUV in their lineup and 2) if only we could use hindsight with every decision....

I hope that roof mounted antenna becomes a little smaller and sleeker (much like all the European vehicles have) as well as becoming body colored.

Re: Caddy BRX interior shot

I have a question, will the BRX have a FWD option or an AWD option. I was under the impression that it would be AWD only to keep the whole caddy line up free of any FWD model. Also for engine choices I would like to see a LNF offered. I think GM should use that engine more often.

The question isn't "why does Cadillac need a warmed over VUE whn a CTS wagon is on the way and fuel pricces are shooting up?"

The question actually is, "Why does Cadillac need a warmed over VUE?"

Yes... I know it's not really a VUE.... but it's VUE-ish.
CTX really should be on Alpha.
