BUICK LACROSSE

The first all-new Buick in seven years, the LaCrosse replaces both the Regal and the Century at the bottom of the lineup and offers traditional luxury at a more affordable price, starting at around $23,000 for the V-6 model. Older buyers like Buick, and they should love the front-wheel-drive LaCrosse. As for the rest of us, we're all aging too, but will a car like this make us feel older?

Definately better. You can see the front resemblence to the 97 Riviera in the front end better in this one.

it looks ok. the front is still not too great. i don't get why buick is so afraid to try something new...this is the same basic design we've ween for the last 12 years. they think they're gonna get new, younger buyers with this? it's probably a good car and will sell ok...but it's nothing that's gonna help them make progress. quite disappointing. buick has a great heritage and i think they could put out some really great designs if they just tried a little harder and thought outside of the box for once...

well said, but not as much outside of the box as to create oddities like the last riviera!

Actually the attempt to add the traditional Buick rear flare, looks even more pathetic from this view.

Forget the whole LaCrosse looks issue.....read the rest of the Fortune article...

If you think that regular automoblie magazine writers are morons....read some of the coments from the brain donors at Fortune...

WOW!

The fact that they did not put the Solstice on the list...but they did put a streched Wrangler on it...leads me to believe that these guy know nothing about cars..

The Wrangler/Jeep ceased to be relevant to the US economy after we won WWII.

Also notice how they did not have anything nice to say about ANY car on the list?

The top 10 list could have been made up by GM cars alone

1- 2005 Corvette
2-Chevrolet Cobalt
3-Chevrolet HHR
4-Cadillac STS
5-Buick LaCrosse
6-Pontiac Solstice
7-Pontiac G6
8-Chevrolet/GMC Colorado/Canyon
9-Chevrolet Silverado Hybrid
10-Cadillac CTS V

But the Solstice doesn't come out for the 2005 model yr. That's probably why. Calm down.

It's hard to get past the ugly Hyundai headlights. Other than that it seems fine but damn those headlights are not good.
