2009 Cadillac CTS-V Could Make Near 567 HP

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=125943

edit: the article is conflicting as it says it does make 567 then it says how its just an estimate if you use the same three percent increase that the corvette had. sorry for the excitement.

I like these random HP numbers....550 and 620 are so...err...rounded and boring.

That's weak! That's not enough Hp! How is thie car ever going to compete!

j/k powervette

That's a good helping. Will this compete with MB E65 AMG, BMW M5?
Or will it go head to head with the M3, C65 AMG, IS-F, etc?

Not to mention the car is hot lookin'!

I agree, that car is smoking hot. Especially in red.

It's size puts it in the class of the BMW M5, M-B E65AMG, and Audi S6.

However, most reviewers will put it up against the M3/C65. Heck, if they compare the CTS to the 3-series and the C-class, what will they put the upcoming BTS against? BMW's 1-series? I mean, come on!

Re: 2009 Cadillac CTS-V Could Make Near 567 HP

Following another story on the page linked above, I found the following quote:

"the ZR1 topped out at 208 mph with a tailwind."

It was certified at 205.

Everyone knows you need DOHC to compete in this segment.
