Re: 2008 CTS on e-bay (Sticker Price)
Hahaha, I was just about to say that my friend test drove one today at his local dealership (cause it arrived today). But now that I am looking at the ebay ad, I think this is the one he drove.

Re: 2008 CTS on e-bay (Sticker Price)
^-- He test drove both V6's and enjoyed the 300hp, but said that he felt the current G35 sedan was faster. He really loved the black and the exterior looks. He liked the looks of the interior, but wasn't impressed with the build quality. The ride was a lot smoother and just felt good. I asked him if he had a choice between the G35 Sedan (which he tested recently) and the CTS, he would choose the CTS.
Now, I don't know if I trust his opinions. He has weird tastes. He also was really hyped up about TDing the CTS, so he was disappointed because it wasn't "PERFECT." He currently drives an older Ford Mach1, which he's invested a lot of time and money into so I think he wants to not like the CTS so he won't buy it. :p Oh yeah, btw I'm going to have to test drive it this weekend. Most likely this same one. Last edited by Egon Pax : 08-24-2007 at 12:45 AM. |

I was like wait a minute I recognize that building and then I realized it was one of the dealers where I test drove the 9-3.

Those are by far some of the best looking pictures I have seen of the new CTS. I really like real world photos like this, I think they show off the car better than the "pro real world" pics the GM has done so far.

Re: 2008 CTS on e-bay (Sticker Price)
I'm so glad GM/Cadillac designed the nav screen into the dash and allowed it to be stowed when not in use, thus preserving the stylistic integrity of the interior. Almost every other car (especially MB and BMW) have such an ugly and poor integration of the nav units that just destroys the interior styling.

Gorgeous car. I love them in black too. Even if I was in the market for a new sedan at this point (I'm not, though), I'd probably sit tight so I didn't have to pay MSRP.

Anyone see the Thunder Gray CTS on the TV show Burn Notice last night? Looked good and sounded great! Noe of the show's sponsors is Cadillac.

Re: 2008 CTS on e-bay (Sticker Price)
My local Caddy dealer just got one in yesterday. I got the chance to look and sit in it last night. Nothing more than that because it was sold already and the new owner probably took delivery today.
They also had the 2008 STS with the DI 3.6. The CTS is nicer and has a more premium, upscale feel and vibe. Cadillac has a potential hit on their hands. This really is a top-notch car. Now let's see how the market reacts to it.
