"Have I seen the next generation Camaro? Yes I have".....................

For all those who have been following poster Bigg_Gunz on LS1TECH, he was asked about the 6th gen Camaro and responded like this yesterday.

Have I seen the next generation camaro?

Yes I have and it looks billion times better than the current camaro. (which I am not a fan of the looks or plus size model like weight)

When I think "I should just pick up a 5th gen" I am quickly reminded that I waited this long, so what's another couple of years! Can't wait!!!

Hopefully it has more of a shape like the Ford Evos (is this a Mustang concept?) with more of a hatchback back end... more streamlined and sleek. Although I'm guessing that most Camaro aficionados prefer the typical 3-box style in coupe form.

I wonder if a "concept" of it will be shown, or if they'll just keep it a tease until the official reveal?

That is the vehicle that I do not think I can resist. I am guessing it will be out around the summer of 2015. That will give the ATS and Corvette at least a 2 year head start and I expect a 6 year run.

Re: "Have I seen the next generation Camaro? Yes I have".....................

I'm glad there's positive signs for the next Camaro, but IMO the current Camaro is still one of the most dynamic, masculine, eye-catching shapes on the road; more than worthy of future classic car status. I think part of that design presence it exudes is because it's a fairly large car, like if it were in 9/10ths scale it wouldn't quite pull the whole thing off. I'd be happy to own one. Just because one guy who's seen it likes the new car better doesn't necessarily mean most people will agree. I'm sure there are people who think the Scion FR-S looks way better than a Camaro, and they would be ridiculously wrong.

I'm hoping for sleek and futuristic vs. fat and retro.

    another question from Bigg_Gunz

Is the LS9 going to make into any other production car besides the ZR1 Corvette?

(Yes and that car will be very rare less then 1500 will be produced).
    Chevy SS?
