Am I the only one who sees the absurdity of a ADM and a asking price of $75k for all 5 cars?
He has FIVE of them!
Do you think maybe he should drop price a bit.

This ends up hurting GM and the car's sales in the end.
Because chevy is now going to have to offer rebates to get these cars sold, so that the dealer will order more.
I have never bought a car with that crap added on, nor will I ever. When I see a car with one of these stickers, I move on to another car or another dealership.
Hendrick has to pay for his racing team somehow...but ADM's on a car is an instant "turn and walk off the lot" to me.
In my garage:

2013 Honda Accord Sport (also mine)
2012 Chevrolet Equinox 1LT (hers)
2000 Saturn SL2 (son's car)
Is it just me, or do the "numbers not add up" as in how does, $27,555 + $795 + $49 = $27,144
Regardless of the bad math, this "adjustment" is ree-dic-a-liss!
If I was in that dealer, buying a car and the salesmen says "I'm going to cut you a deal, I've got approval to give you $800 off" ....... meaning $5 under full MSRP, I'd punch him!

Nothing new here, when I was in the Navy, based in Norfolk 35yrs ago, they did the same thing. Every dealer that I looked at for a new car, had dealer markup on it. Its just something that they all do, and everone down there accepts it. Needless to say I purchased my new 77 Cutlass back home in Pa. Saving a bundle.

It's Hendrick, so it's not like they'd ever get chastised for it (not that it's "wrong"). Sadly, people pay such prices, otherwise they wouldn't continue to charge it.

$195 for what makes up 78% of the atmosphere? That has to be a complete joke.
Those f***ing (insert racially unacceptible stereotype) need to kill themselves.

$26,300 + $795 + $49 = $27,144. Apparently this dealership is giving you the $495 White Diamond Tricoat and $760 destination fee but instead charging you for market adjustment and nitrogen in your tires (how do you verify that??). Not a snowball's chance in hell I'd ever pay a market adjustment on any car. My brother just bought a brand new ZL1 from a dealership in GA for under $60k (area dealerships were asking nearly 70).

My local dealer has several 2013's with no ADM.
Brake. Apex. Accelerate.
It is big time illegal to attach an add-on sticker to the Maroney label. BIG TIME.
If you think it won't be enforced, ask a local dealer. He doesn't do it anymore![]()

"What is left unsaid in all this is the fact that conventional cars with a tank full of petrol are far greater fire hazards than electric cars will ever be. Some 185,000 vehicles catch fire in America each year, with no fewer than 285 people dying as a consequence. But, then, people have been living with the hazard of petrol for over a century. Irrationally, electric-vehicle fires are perceived as somehow more worrisome simply because they are new." - The Economist
You should have seen the look on the service writer's face when she asked me once if I'd like a nitrogen-fill for my tires (for $29) and I told her "no thanks, air is 78% nitrogen, I will just use that". She actually looked at me and said "really? I did not know that."
I now try to avoid that service writer whenever I can.
