It's pretty amazing that the ZL1 was only about 2.5 seconds off the LFA. It puts the ZL1's awesomeness into perspective.

What's the difference between a Camaro ZL1, and an LFA? About $320,000, and 2.4 seconds at VIR it seems. The most amazing thing is it beat's formidable machinery like the C63 AMG Black Series which has been said to be one of the most dynamic cars made by journalists.

GMs performance engineers are the best in the business in my opinion. Look at what they get out of a car per dollar charged. Even the unlimited budget cars that DO beat GMs offerings are just BARELY able to do so. Plus, GMs performance cars can be beaten on, driven, enjoyed for 200,000 miles with nothing but oil changes. Outstanding work.

Wow, great job Chevy. This is my favorite issue of the year as you can quickly compare the overall performance of cars for the last few years. I need to go see what the Cobalt SS's time was.

They didn't put the Corvette in since there is no new performance version. They only test a car once. I guess they could have done the 427 convertible, whcih would have been interesting.

The Camaro is a drag racing car. It's not supposed to beat a Ferrari. That is, unless a Mustang does then all bets are off. I'd more than welcome the Camaro to kill the Mustang in any way it possibly can. The Corvette is a world class sports car intended to kill the Ferrari no matter what.
