Re: Lingenfelter Trans-Am Concept

^^^^^ Yep... The car above is killer. THAT car could have made a nice little profit for GM and I'm not a big Pontiac guy... it's just simply too cool to ignore.

Repeat after me ... "Pontiac is Gone. Firebird and Trans Am are gone."

Time to move on. Really. This time for real.

You want Lingenfelter to repeat after you? The T/A looks alive to me.

Why does a car customization bother you?

Re: Firebird Revival? Lingenfelter Invites Hoey to View 455 T/A Concept - Car and Dri

YUCK!
(At least the exterior...the interior is very well redone)

This one is worlds better:

It's amazing how simple the conversion was...

Re: Lingenfelter Trans-Am Concept

Not bad but could be better with the big screaming chicken. It could be interesting to see how it would had looked if they had gone with the hidden headlights of the 1968-69 GTO? (or even the 1970 GTO front end in "Red Carrousel")

This could be a job for Monaro SS

Re: Lingenfelter Trans-Am Concept

There is not a very big pool of nostalgia customers. GTO proved that. And in this concept, its as Ugly as they come.

Yes that Trans Am concept looks amazing, why can't someone make that? The other concept looks like crap.

Edit: a bit of trivia, Dodge also taught of using the Trans-Am moniker for the Challenger, but Pontiac menaged to get the rights from the SSCA first, so Dodge used the T/A moniker instead. (Just a weird thing come to my head, had the GM-Chrysler merger materialized, Dodge could had access to the rights of using the Trans-Am name )
isn't that much like how both Chevy and Dodge had IROCs?
