Sleek indeed....I really like the wagon. Nice to see more influence from the Aero X concept showing up in production cars.

Re: Leaked Saab 9-5 shots reveal new details

Glad Leftlanenews acknowledges Saabsunited (1st site to post them).

These look like very 'loose' CGIs of what the car will look like. The wagon, in particular, looks way off when compared to the veiled wagon that was shown on Saabsunited before. And... where the Hell did they get the info that it will have a 3.6L V6, when the 2.8L turbo in HO tune is putting out power numbers smilar to the Northstar V8 (EDIT - and does that without DI)?

Heh... I'm the complete opposite.

GM really ****ed up the lines on this car. Look at the strange lines created by the unnecessary chrome on the front end. And what's the deal with the strange side vents?

210 Hp out of a 2.0 motor, why? The colbalt SS motor should be in her at the least 260 Hp. WOW why go backwards.

For SAAB's sake, I hope not. The wagon isn't bad but the sedan looks awful. Good thing they're chops.

I don't like either of them. I'll have to wait and see if it grows on me but my first thought is that they are really odd looking.

Looks kind of bland from the front. I'm thinking it's a watered-down Audi look. Not bad, but not good either.

Because there are places where less than 200hp are usual. Also, it is normal that a engine is available with different hp settings, like for example the 2.0 CDTi EcoTEC with 120, 140, 160 and 190hp.

I think the Swedish Auto Motor & Sport guys said the pre-production car they drove was a 220hp turbo 2.0L I4. Also, there was a spec sheet that listed a SIDI 2.0L I4 (I think that's how the Solstice/Sky engine is referred to) as one of the engines, so the 210hp (or 220 hp) is likely just one of the options available for the 9-5.
