This is why GM also failed Pontiac and GM is highly likely to fail Cadillac and Buick as well, all GM should have is Chevy because that is really all they are good at doing......
We'll find out whether it's lip service or not, but unfortunately we won't know until 6 or 12 months down the line. If the advertising, marketing, off-road involvement changes -- we'll know it wasn't just PR but a true realignment.

From what I've seen, in the last few months, HUMMER execs and engineers have been attending more outside club off-road events than they have in the last few years combined.

Have you noticed..... now that GM no longer owns it, environmentalists aren't bad-mouthing Hummer anymore?

It won't be GM, and HUMMER independent of GM definitely got the memo on the HX.

NO it shouldn't be a Chevy.
**** Chevy!

If GM were to make a "clone" of it, it'd be part of GMC, where it would make more sense stylistically.

I wish GM kept the H3T, and H4.....oh well.

I also with GM sold the company to Razor (whos HQ is a few miles from me, remember the 100mpg H3?)
