Does Pontiac Website Show New Tagline?

Pontiac's website is featuring a new tagline; "Pontiac Is CAR".

Note: The word 'car' does appear in capital letters on the website.

The following is a direct quote from the site:

Pontiac is CAR.

Car.

One simple word.

Packed with so much meaning.

To some, it stands for freedom. To others it's hood scoops and horsepower.

For others still, it means fun and escape.

We all have our own personal definitions. They all mean something special.

So let's bring car back. And all the good it stands for.

From the company that always was, and will be, Car.

OMG, isn't that interesting.

I note that they are also now calling the Torrent a 'crossover' and not a 'truck'.

Re: Does Pontiac Website Show New Tagline?

When I see such things I wonder..................How much money did it cost GM Marketing to come up with that?

Re: Does Pontiac Website Show New Tagline?

If you watch it for a little while it'll say "Pontiac is backseats"

I'm down for backseats (cept in a Solstice, then you'd have to use the fronts).

Re: Does Pontiac Website Show New Tagline?

that has to be the stupidest tag line ever...

lets try this:
The future of excitement for the soul of today.
Pontiac , action personified.
building excitement for the soul of driving.

maybe I should go into marketing...

With vehicles like the Vibe, Torrent and maybe G8 wagon they probably figured they should lose the "excitement" tag finally.
