And there ladies and gents is why there will never be a Trans Am again.
There will be no competition to the Camaro unless in the next 6-12 months everyone sells thier suv's, minivans, cars and trucks and want 2 door coupes.

5 each is pushing it. Pontiac 4 Solstice, G5, G6 and G8. But you have to remember the variants. coupe and sedan G5, 3 models of G6, 2-3 models of G8 and now two models of Solstice. So that went from 4 to 10 models different types of cars.
Buick gets 3-4 cars, LaX, Lucerne, and Enclave. Maybe throw in a compact Theta-Lux SUV in there that was talked about when I went to NYIAS.

Then GMC's got thier trucks. Ther Theta, Lambda, and 900's. So many variants of the 900s alone that will scare ya.

Re: Buick, Pontiac & GMC To Get 12 New Vehicles Over The Next 20 Months - No Trans Am

Pontiac is Trans-Am. Without it....Pontiac's days will be numbered. Pontiac was in trouble in the 50's and early 60's then the FireBird came along, Pontiac survived (FireBird= Pontiac). 2002 Firebird Cancelled??....Downward spiral for Pontiac. Bring back the Firebird.....bring back the Trans Am.
