Re: 2009 Pontiac G6 Coupe Spotted?
That's what they needed to do last year, not next year. The upper and lower grilles are both much improved.

Re: 2009 Pontiac G6 Coupe Spotted?
I like the new nose better than the current one. It looks like the interior is possibly getting some significant changes but it is hard to tell from the picture. The door panel looks changed. Assuming they update the rest and assuming they do as well as the Malibu or better (fingers crossed) it will be a much better car.

Re: 2009 Pontiac G6 Coupe Spotted?
A new interior would be fantastic, and may help sales a bit, especially if they add some powertrain options. But I'm afraid it's a little too late for any significant change in sales; most people have made up their mind about the car. A full redesign is necessary and probably should have been ready to go for next year.

Also, I do know that the car will continue to use the old headunit for radio/HVAC, so they aren't changing much (more like nothing) in the interior. |

Re: 2009 Pontiac G6 Coupe Spotted?
i've been seeing this for weeks now going north on mound around 8 mile on my way to work. I didn't think it was anything special.
But here's a treat for anybody living in the detroit area: There is a stripped lincoln MKS on nine mile just east of Schoenherr. Honestly I thought the production version would look better. It's parked right outside on the streeet, has no wheels so it won't go anywhere, pearl color. It was kinda late and the area is not the best, so I didn't wanna stop and take pix, but maybe i'll do that today.

Re: 2009 Pontiac G6 Coupe Spotted?
Jalopnik said in the article that MT reported the demise of the G6. Did I miss something? Other than that, I hope they didn't spend too much on this as I agree with others that this will do NOTHING for sales.

Maybe GM would surpraise us with a Malibu like interior and improved driving abiltity with the revised G6.

The lower fascia looks too much like the Aura to me.

Re: 2009 Pontiac G6 Coupe Spotted?
A waste of time if they didn't upgrade the interior and add some more color choices. Also the cope should have a base 2.4/6 speed auto as base and optional bodyside moldings to make it look less plain and blah. Fingers crossed for a new head unit too.

Re: 2009 Pontiac G6 Coupe Spotted?
I like the new schnoz but other than that and the possibly redesigned rear bumper everything else looks the same to me
