Re: 2007 G6 Changes

This is great stuff. The G6 will be far more competitive with the Accord. Pontiac might be able to sell them without any rebates!

Better GM mid-size= sales success

Re: 2007 G6 Changes

The new six speed and 3.6 engine are great additions. Maybe i missed it but there are no interior changes.
Also, i think the aura now needs more power.

Looks like you can "GTP" the GT vert with a "sport package".

Re: 2007 G6 Changes

Anyone know if the new manual transmission is really new?

FGP Germany F40 Transverse FWD, 6-speed manual, Pontiac G6, Code: MT2

Or, did they just change the name?

Re: 2007 G6 Changes

Good to see the DOHC engine and 6-speed. I am not sure why they offer the 3900 still, that seems like a waste. Is it worth getting a sport package that adds 15 hp, when you can just get the GTP with the DOHC engine from a Cadillac? Lots of people will buy that engine because it is a Cadillac engine. Cadillac power and refinement at $26,000 equals success.

no more six speed manual, gtp vert, etc. that sucks. they should make the 3.9 the base.
