I cannot belive how great this car is...really amazing.
Best looking hybrid car by far. Totally just put the hybird car segment in the rear view.
I heard that the LCD gauge cluster is going to start showing up in other production cars soon at GM.

Sweet!

What's going on with the trim on the door panels?

Re: Volt Revealed!

Looks good. I especially like the unique looking back and center stack. It's very unique looking overall which is a smart move.

Nadepalma, I remember. I was thinking the same thing too.
I am thinking, perhaps this release is too early. It will give competation a heads up?

Re: Volt Revealed!

The interior is interesting to say the least. It's likely to spur a lot of debate.

My question is, what is up the with door panels? What is going on with that imprinted design? At first I thought it was a reflection but after looking at it more I've come to believe that it can't be a reflection.

It looks almost like small speakers/tweeters have been drawn onto the panel.

Re: Volt Revealed!

Holy Crap! They actually pulled the hat-trick. It's a better car than the Prius mechanically/electrically. It looks snazzier, and it's still got that "different" look that the eco-nuts love so much. Go GM, go!!!

Re: Volt Revealed!

If the exterior looks a bit more conventional than expected, the interior does not. The shifter (?) looks like it might belong on the Enterprise or something Take 'er out Sulu!

Overall I think it looks good and is definately distinctive. I'm not a big fan of the light coloured shiny touch surfaces in the interior... I might get used to it or there may be some different options or improvements with time.

Re: Volt Revealed!

Much more upscale looking than the previous shots. From the rear 3/4 view there's a lot of Acura TL. I'm quite relieved how nice this looks. And yea, the interior rocks!

Re: Volt Revealed!

Amazing how much better it looks when people aren't standing in front of the car in photos.

The interior is pretty cool.
