Re: Volt Revealed!
The Volt looks fantastic, inside and out. I'd just lose the white on the interior, it gives it too much of an Apple look.
Other than that it's a really good looking vehicle. I'm not sure how a few people are seeing ANY resemblance to the ugly Prius. The Volt actually has a sporty look to it that the Prius can only dream of having. $40,000 will be too much though, imo. Hopefully it's no more than $30,000.

Re: Volt Revealed!
Is it too early to be talking about trim levels...? The same old LS/LT/LTZ, or just standard interior/exterior across the board?

Re: Volt Revealed!
THAT'S HOT!!
I think its even better than the concept, more refined. Besides, how come people get upset, do they truly think that the 24" rims on the concept would make it through to production? Also, all GM's marketting ads for the volt had a big asterisk *actual production may vary!!!* |

Re: Volt Revealed!
I too would like to see the center stack in black.
I also wonder, if it wouldn't have been better to wait until Detriot (auto show) to do the full reveal of the Volt - that way the Volt could have really upstaged the new Prius when it is introduced. Perhaps, GM will do something at the show that will do so anyway.

Re: Volt Revealed!
Color me IMPRESSED. This blows the Prius away.
GM really needs to keep the price near the 30k mark, though. That's my big worry. Way to go GM!!! Also, the center stack looks EXACTLY like something Apple Computer would design - extremely modern and elegant. |

Re: Volt Revealed!
It's okay, but not great. The back end looks nice, and the front is okay, but not spectacular.
Lose the cheap gray trim around the bottom, the black trim around the windows, and those dumb looking mirrors. The interior stack looks cheap and dated. White plastic reminds me of old iPods or kitchen appliances. Note that Apple, the techno-hip trend setter, doesn't even offer the iPod in white anymore. That shift lever looks too large and is wasting valuable space. Other than that, it looks good.

Re: Volt Revealed!
The front looks like a complete Acura TL ripoff (The current one not the fugly new one) with a cobalt SS bottom grille. Thats why the front works so well cuz that had a good looking front end as well.
The rear is pretty nice IMO. Other than the high butt and the somewhat blobby/squared overall look to the car. I dont think the car looks too bad overall. Definately better looking than the Prius. This thing has technogadgetry writting all over it all those details and lighting and visual gauge pods....those batteries are doing double duty to keep those things illuminated.

Re: Volt Revealed!
I wish the center stack looked better. It looks bland.
There won't likely be any aftermarket stereos for the Volt. ![]()

Good Riddance. Have fun in your almighty Toyota Prius, or other Far East anti-American trap. You can't even spell Impala, so you do not deserve to ride in a GM product. You, sir, are the disappointment! Ha. |
