Re: Spy Video: Camaro at the 'Ring'
Too bad they won't make lower end ones or I'd be all over it like a fat kid and a cake.
But all these videos and pictures are making me want it more as well ![]()

Re: Spy Video: Camaro at the 'Ring'
Nice. It looks good in black. I noticed they added an amber taillamp. I do like that headlight configuration better than the concept. Looks more contemporary.
Looks like a heavy car. In that first vid from the 'Ring it looks like the driver came into the corner a little hot and got some understeer. I wonder what tires they are running? A more agressive tire can be good for several seconds at most tracks. Nice exhaust note though. The Camaro alway seems to have a more raw exhaust note. My '02 Z28 sounded more raw than a Vette.

Re: Spy Video: Camaro at the 'Ring'
I'd still like to see a version the camaro come out with the 3.5L value V6, and a six speed. that woud help cafe numbers alot. I think they are trying to bring this car to market so that it can be easily moved to take over the vettes location, and then create a Corvette "brand" and use the cobalt as the low end hi-po car. (which would work for me, if it at least would have awd, I dont want a FWD performance car... i've driven RWD and it was on a 20 year old car and loved it..)
Either way, the car looks good and sounds good. I am skeptical how well it will sell past the first 2 years. GM has let us see it way to much.. I almost expect a complete body restyling for the 2013-14 time frame.. (maybe a Bird will hatch in the meantime.. pun intended.)

Re: Spy Video: Camaro at the 'Ring'
Will the production car have amber turn signals or red? I'm hoping red. And are those the production headlights? They aren't the ones from the concept.

Re: Spy Video: Camaro at the 'Ring'
Either way Im sure Scott S and the Camaro team are making it simple to change to a red one. No they are not production headlights, they are off the shelf generic parts so they can have it road going.

The production taillights will not be amber.

Re: Spy Video: Camaro at the 'Ring'
I've seen this video before, but it's sure is nice to see it again. I love the sound
this V8 version makes while accelerating. Makes me want one along with a C6 Corvette. Just a bit beyond the budget here in Scandinavia for me. Doesn't hurt to dream though, does it?

Re: Spy Video: Camaro at the 'Ring'
I mean low-end like Mustang low end. The DI V6 wouldn't be priced around the v6 Stang price.
