These cars look much more substantial than the current model. This car will most definately call for higher transaction prices. I'm sure it will outsell the current Camaro. I may have to take back what I said I would would take the XTS over this. Look at those bad a$$ wheels!!

I'm very curious to see these in person. They look very good in photos, but I fear they will share the truck-like proportions of the Ford Taurus. Hoping this is closer to the LaCrosse rather than the Taurus. But, it looks darn good in these photos!

They need to drop both the front and rear just a bit since the body looks jacked up for some reason. I know these are test type units and they do look good except for being to high. Now if they will put in a turbo V6 or something with a bit of punch to pull all that iron around I might get the wife interested. When the new Malibu's came out with no V6 option that shot that down. She will not do a 4 cyl turbo so that option is also out. Another option she mentioned is AWD. It is not a deal breaker but she would like to have it if possible.

Wow...the new Impala certainly has presence. Where the Taurus is tall and ungainly, while not being terribly sculpted or pretty, the Impala has finesse from what I can see.

I like it a lot. And I can't wait to see what Buick does with the next LaCrosse because it'll need to push the envelope further in the face of this new Impala.
