Re: SEMA 2009: Custom Camaros Everywhere!

The silver and white ones look good. Most of these are so tacky it gave me the runs. 14 year old kids on the internet with photoshop turn out great looking Camaros every day, but THIS is what these companies come up with?! Too many ricer crowd fans working there. They need to hire some people that actually BUY Camaros to design mods for them.

This is what sells. You must not have lived on the West Coast.

Most aftermarket modifications aren't in good taste. The "tuner" crowd wants unique cars... they want to stand out from the crowd.

Within that group of the aftermarket , there are some people that do tasteful mods but they are a minority. It's the flashy, over-the-top style that sells.

I really wish the body color ground effects kit would make it to production, it just looks SO much cleaner than the non-matching grey one IMO. Also the spoiler and the way the rest of this car was done looks pretty classy, this is definitely the trim I would buy if I were buying one.
