SEMA 2009: Custom Camaros Everywhere!

Chevrolet Camaro Z28 to debut at SEMA?

How 2009 is this? Not only are you looking at what we're 99.99% sure is the brand spankin' new Chevrolet Camaro Z28, but we got sent the picture via Facebook. Pretty viral (or whatever), right? Also, that Z28 is sitting on the floor at SEMA, and there's an entire posse of us Autoblog types heading out to Sin City so we will be up close and way too personal with this bad-mutha Chevy shortly.

You're kidding, right? The Shelby GT500. Ford's hopped up Mustang tuned by SVT and Shelby.

Slightly different grill, more aggressive lower air damn. It's pretty close to this rendering from Motor Trend

SEMA 2009: Custom Camaros Everywhere!

The aftermarket community did not waste any time to start customizing the 2010 Camaro. This year's SEMA event has a massive Camaro display.

Here is a collection of early photos from the SEMA setup. The photos are originally from Camaro5.com:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50355

Due to the enormous size and quantity of photos from the original thread, I cropped/sized the images to a more digestible size and posted a selection of 20+ Camaro shots here.

Enjoy!...

Re: SEMA 2009: Custom Camaros Everywhere!

Well, at least there's no shortage of enthusiasm to modify this car or options to create your custom dream car.

I don't care for most of this stuff. I prefer the clean, simple look. Or more of a sleeper look. I've been thinking of putting those 18" Heritage Steel wheels from the Camaro LS on a 2SS/RS with some serious tire.

God the amount of tackiness at SEMA never ceases to amaze me. Not a single one of those look good.

Re: SEMA 2009: Custom Camaros Everywhere!

The dark blue car next to the green car has what could be the "executive" interior that Lutz was talking about, it has a really nice looking tan interior, there is another one of the GM concept Camaros that has suede inserts in the seats like a CTS-V.

Re: SEMA 2009: Custom Camaros Everywhere!

Holy hell there's some ugly **** there. I'm glad I've never wasted my time to see a SEMA show. Wow.

Talk about wrecking a perfectly decent looking car. I'm a Camaro lover (not of this generation) but holy hell...
