Right. That's why the Mexican built Focus scored higher on Ford's internal quality audits than its American built counterpart. I've seen no quality issues with the HHR, Fusion, Escalade ESV/EXT or the new Saturn VUE. Calm down, Quasimodo.

Unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be the case

"Our plan is to cease production there, and we don't have plans to allocate future product to them," Wagoner said in response to a reporter's question.

Re: Report: Aveo Production Moving To Lordstown; Cobalt, Astra Production Goes To Me

Crap, I posted in another thread what I meant to post in here!

From putting all the pieces together, I think the small car lineup/assembly plan will look something like...

MY 2010
  • Aveo/G3: current model: Ramos Arizpe
  • Cobalt/G5: current model (phased out mid-year)
  • Global Chevy: Delta2: San Luis Potosi
  • Astra: current model, Belgium
MY 2011
  • Aveo/G3?: Gamma2: Ramos Arizpe?
  • Global Chevy compact: Delta2: San Luis Potosi
  • Global Chevy MPV7: Delta2: Lordstown
  • Volt: Delta2?: Hamtramck
  • Corsa: Gamma2: Ramos Arizpe?
  • Astra: Delta2: San Luis Potosi
MY 2012
  • Add "Alpha" RWD products at Lordstown
Or something along these lines...
