Re: Orlando Images leaked ahead of Paris show!
I am talking about the interior of the 2010 LaCrosse coming out next year. Light years ahead of anything in the market. Last edited by goatgary : 09-24-2008 at 04:02 PM. |

Re: Orlando Images leaked ahead of Paris show!
Now, if this is the HHR replacement, or at most the same size as the HHR, then I'd be interested. And I hate the look of SUV's. Loving the interior, the exterior reminds me kinda sorta like the old C/K Blazer/Suburban from '67-'72, at least with the wheel arches.
![]() And remember, the current HHR was styled after the earlier, post-war Suburbans. |

Re: Orlando Images leaked ahead of Paris show!
It looks close to production besides the blue lights all over the place.. though the lights look pretty cool!
GM needs to build this thing as the next-gen HHR!!! Does it have three rows of seats? It doesnt look like it.

Re: Orlando Images leaked ahead of Paris show!
if this is production-ish...i bet it could come here as the next HHR. Note some similar styling cues that yes are different..but different in a "newly redesigned" way. The profile is similar, mainly in the rear door area. The fender flares, the use of blue lights in a dark cage cluster, the car like size/drive, short stubby hood, etc.

I like it! I like everything about it, and how can people diss tron?? weirdo's.
no way should it replace the HHR, the HHR should be replaced with something else retro when it does get replaced.

Re: Orlando Images leaked ahead of Paris show!
I have a strong suspicion as others have pointed out that this is in fact the next get HHR, which is fine with me, it looks great, and as for the "lights", dont be to quick to dismiss them as just turntable candy, but the blue "Tron" colors aside, lights inside the door handles? Why not? Not when the car is running, but as part of the vehicles illuminated entry system, and the lights in the mirrors? Again, totally do-able and realistic.
Just because they snazzed up the car for auto show duty with some cool colors does not mean it can happen, we have seen GM really get into the lighting tricks with the light pipes in the CTS and now the Camaro, who's to say whats next? |

Re: Orlando Images leaked ahead of Paris show!
if you look on SI, they have a listing under 2010 for the chevrolet orlando.
so its a good chance its going to be built. they wouldnt go that far as to put info on SI if they were not to build it. |

Re: Orlando Images leaked ahead of Paris show!
It was already announced that this WASN'T coming to the US. See post: WSJ: GM Shelves Plan to Build Chevy Crossover
No worries though, I'm sure the HHR will carry on for several more years virtually unchanged to fill the gap. Why would GM actually think people in the NA market would want a good looking, well designed vehicle such as this?
