Re: Only@GMI: Orlando Concept to be Produced
re: "i hope they dont turn this into another CUV" ....well sorry to break it to you but do you know what a CUV is? It is essentially a minivan with a bit sleeker lines!
This product is awesome and desperately needed after the cancellation of the uplander. GM needs a people mover to replace it and the traverse (and other lambdas) do this well but are larger and more expensive. This will be the lower end and cheaper mpv. This also will help round out the production at hamtramk as it will be built on the delta along-side the volt! (notice the production start dates are the same!) The cruse will be built on the delta in lordstown... |

Re: Only@GMI: Orlando Concept to be Produced
I think the name will change to protect the sales.
I didn't like it when it came out about 5 years ago but it sure looks like many of the automaker recent crossover suvs have taken the look of the isuzu axiom. |

I really like the styling on that, inside and out! Hope GM makes it as close as possible, it would do so well.

Re: Only@GMI: Orlando Concept to be Produced
Yeah just look at what happened to the scion xb when it got refreshed. Personally I think the interior is up to snuff but the exterior is too basic...but I guess this will be in the same vein as the ford flex and will be a flex and nissan versa competitor.

I agree, and yes I am a HHR SS owner. Although the interior looks nice, I prefer to shift my own gears and that shifter location looks awkward. I also think the HHR is a great sized vehicle I would prefer the next generation be the same size and lighter!. I know what a concept, the next generation of a car LIGHTER than the previous one. |

Re: Only@GMI: Orlando Concept to be Produced
I rather it be called Venture or something else Chevy has made in the past that fits. Naming it Orlando is just too theme park for me..
