Today may be one of the most important days of the year for advertisers, but the first 2014 Corvette Stringray commercial won't be part of it. While General Motors is sitting out of the Super Bowl this year, they have released the first Stingray ad, and it is wordless.
The 30-second spot (shown above) flashes angles of the sexy new Vette in black with black wheels, likely in Z51 trim. There's also a brief snippet of the exhaust note of the Stingray, which sounds rather intoxicating.
We're not sure when the ad is going to debut on television, but it is clearly ready for prime time. Expect to see a lot of the Stingray in Chevrolet's new "Find New Roads" marketing campaign as the company intends to leverage it's new flagship to launch the campaign.

We were shown clips of that, in color, at the AutoWeek Design forum. It was a lot different though.
Very powerful commercial, but would be great with that sexy V8 engine playing the soundtrack.

They could have showed a still pic and played the exhaust note for the whole 30 seconds and my pants would have needed changing.

That car is AMAZING.... I guess the new slogan is " Find New Roads" , better than "Chevy Runs Deep".

I think Silver would have shown off it's lines better than in black but it still looks good once they got the car out of the studio.

It's a wonderful looking car in that black with black wheels choice. I'm not a big sports car guy, but that's a car I'd love to own.

What a gorgeous car, and that ad is just one big tease.
