Concord Red is a streamline color? What does that mean?

Is there still a four-door model? I'm lost in the lingo there.

Yes, 4 doors are crew cab. Extended cab is just that, an extended cab. Hopefully it comes back in '15.

Re: Meet Your 2014 Chevrolet Truck Lineup

Should have put the Equinox and Traverse in with the cars....its not a truck if it isn't BOF if you ask me...

Whats the deal with no HD extended cab models?...

The Avalanche should not have been axed...

Sorry, but I don't think they'll be selling motorhomes. The Express cargo and passenger vans, yes.

Yes, the 2014 1500 will have 4 independently-opening doors (with a slightly larger cab) as the "extended cab", my guess is HDs will follow suit in '15. Smart move, i think, it'll be way more convenient than having to open the front door to gain access to the rear door.

Re: Meet Your 2014 Chevrolet Truck Lineup

I'm sorry but if you want 4 doors get a crew cab. For a shorter cab I'd rather have the b-pillar-less suicide door ext. cab rather than a small rear doors.

Avalanche should have stayed, IMO, as well.

I like the new Double Cabs and I'll probably get one in the future. But I agree, I liked the clean look of the extended cab. Oh well.

Hmmm. Interesting they will stop EC production - can't quite figure why that would need to happen now. I wonder if they are going to just have the CC and RC on 3/4 tons in the future.

While the lines are cleaner for use I prefer the open entry of the ext cab.
I have owned all but the "new" quad cabs with small rear doors but the openings are similar in size to the older pre-92 GM crewcabs.
We've had reg, ext w/o rear doors, ext with quad doors and multiple generations of crew cabs and really would have liked a Dodge Mega cab.
If it is going to be a mid-cab sized I would much rather have the current no B-pillar design.

Most likely has to do with which plant is going off line for renovations first.
