The malibu...The Corvette Grand Sport...the Camaro SS..
Add in the new Spark(not sure but might be a cool ride) and upcoming cruze and its a pretty sharp car lineup... Add the G8 GT as an Impala SS and its the best most affordable performance brand sold in the USA.. JMO

I know GM dosen't have any money, and what money they do have is going toward the Volt, but they are making a mistake by not but the Direct Injection engines in the Malibu, put the 2.4L SIDI in it as a base engine, and the 3.6L DI out of the Traverse into it as the optinal engine. You instantly have class leading perfromance and fuel economy for both engines. If the 3.6L DI engine can get 29 in a Camaro that weighs 300 LBS more then a Malibu, then it should be able to get at least 30 MPG in the Malibu, and the 2.4L would be in the mid 30's easy. Come on GM, start being leaders.

The LT2 does not need steel wheels with crome wheel covers. Come on GM, you should know better by now. |

Old platform or not, Impala is a solid car, drives out well and is very dependable. A few mods and it would be fine but it is getting dated.
I would like to see the new White Diamond Tricoat!

2010 will be one tough year for selling cars with such a lineup. Each brand has at least one or two very stale products, mediocre at best.
