Well put mate, I agree and really for the type of car it is I like the looks of it....always have.
Its a nice little car, there is nothing wrong with the looks of it too me.And yes, the wheels DO do something for it.

Re: GM Finally Releases Cobalt SS Sedan Pic

I think I like it. Of course I also think my ION looks good, so what do I know, right? I think the Cobalt sedan continues to look better than all its major competitors (if nothing else, the Civic, Focus, and Sentra). New taillights wouldn't be a bad thing to have, but I can live with these. The only thing I don't really like are the wheels, but there's always the aftermarket to fix that. So all in all, with that engine and at a relatively cheap price, I don't think you can go wrong with this car.

Re: GM Finally Releases Cobalt SS Sedan Pic

Take the spoiler off and it is an excellent "sleeper," which will also provide excellent mileage. Think of the oil which would be saved if just half of those people riding around in huge empty pickups and other way over-sized vehicles switched to one of these.

Thanks. I guess not all of us feel the need to drive a self-propelled pen!s extension. Oh well.

Nope. Not likely. Chevy gets sedans and coupes, Saturn gets the 'Euro hot-hatches'.

Nah. GM is actually putting a lot of effort into the next Cobalt, because it is going to be used globally.

I like it for the sleeper aspect. Take off the wing, drop the SS badges, crank up the boost and enjoy all the rude awakenings it will provide.

I love this car. Its sleeper looks and drivability is what I like in cars. I just hope it lasts for more than 2 years.

I think it's a handsome looking compact sedan, gets decent mileage, has tons of go, you can get a manual, sounds good to me.

I think your Ion looks good, too. So does mine. I'd rather have the drab Cobalt than the boy-racer Mazda 3 or the Big Yaris/Little Camry Corolla or the Space:1999 Civic. But, I'd rather have the VW GTI instead of those, too. I like understated ability, not extroverted posseurs.

Here it is. Make the tail lights red or dark tinted and it would be perfect.

THAT is what the SS Sedan should've been.......

This other car.....looks the same as the 'old' NA SS.....the one with the 2.2L 171HP "H.O." Ecotec......
