Re: Price War? GM Adds New Leasing Deals & Early Termination Program Returns

    Price War?

What if GM is simply returning some of its tremendous cost savings of the past 18 months to the marketplace? One can not believe they would openly and honestly continue their past practice of 'build and dump'.

I vote no price war - just highly targeted incentives in a hyper-competitive market.

Oh, and that Cruze deal is an absolute steal. Go buy that new Corvette, and throw in a Cruze for your daily driver.

They are just LS models. Dont really think its that bad to try to move these cars. They typically rot on dealer lots until incentives get high enough to sell them.

That is pretty nice. Id at least try to step it up to the 1LT and get the 1.4T. You still might get it for around $100 a month.

Maybe it't just a reward customers for their loyalty thing. I think we can all agree that GM needs to do whatever possible to keep buyers happy.

I don't really need another car at this point ....but I am amazed that I can actually get a NEW Chevy Cruze for as little as ZERO DOWN ....79 dollars a month!!!

    Thats insane!!!!

My health club monthy payment is more...
Most peoples monthly cell phone bill is more expensive..
Cable bills ? YEPPER...more than the cost of a BRAND SPANKING NEW CHEVY CRUZE!!!

Like I said..I'm not buying it..as I have no use for it...but hot dam if it isn't bizzare that a brand new car can be leased for 12k miles a year for 39 months...for zero down and 79 dollars a month!!!

Huh? I would think the least expensive ones go first? The "fully loaded" cars are always the ones that sit a bit longer.

I too use both the old GM card & Citi driver's edge card which always puts me in a great position to purchase a new vehicle at any time. Are you aware the drivers edge card program will be eliminated in March?

Re: GM "Deletes" Down Payment On Malibu & Cruze LS Models For GM Owners

Speaking of which - I'm getting flooded with marketing material because GM is anticipating that I'll be going out of my Wave lease pretty soon.

Didn't they get the memo about me reporting it stolen and paying what was left of it off?

Still, I didn't think I was so close from getting out of the damn thing in a normal way. I thought I was in it for five years! Turns out it was four -_-
