2014 Chevrolet Corvette Exterior Design Revealed in New Illustrations

Just the Facts:

• New renderings of the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette are revealed.
• The illustrations are based on the future Corvette convertible.
• The 2014 Corvette will officially debut at the upcoming 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

With the official reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette just weeks away, spy photographers have put together their best renderings yet of the upcoming sports car.

Using Corvette convertible prototypes as the basis, the renderings show the dramatic new shape of the fully redesigned sports car. Recent leaks of the Corvette's front end design have fueled speculation about the Corvette's styling, not to mention its hardware.

There is no way the rear fascia looks like THAT.

If it is, the Malibu won't be the only new GM vehicle getting a quick MCE!

There is no way the Vette looks like that, I hope. The entire design is horrible, espically the back. The front doesn't even look like the line drawings accidently released by GM the other day. The actual disguised car looks sleek, their renderings looks chunky and nothing like the disguised car. I think their attempts at a headline are nothing more than a bad guess.

I think that is more of an ad for Photoshop than an accurate illustration of the new 'Vette. I hope.

This is pretty damn close, but every "rendering" is just an alteration of the Jalopnik picture. What's wrong with the rear? I friggin love it! The deck on the convertible is huuuuge, that's my only issue. Only thing I don't like are the vents in the hood. Rest of the car looks spot on. Cannot wait.

I'm impressed by this rendering's sharp rear lines.

Dunno if this is even remotely close to the real car.
