Re: edmunds: 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Goes 205 mph-Plus!
Impressive, but less so than I thought.
With GM only making 2K units, then suddenly it seems like just another rare and expensive, hand assembled exotic sports car, that happens to be be less expensive than most. I would have been far more impressed if they did not make it so rare, and more attainable to the masses. Otherwise, it might as well sit in a crate.

Well I would wager that its the least expensive 200+ mph production car that you can buy and service anywhere with a 100,000 mile warranty, I would say thats pretty impressive.

The current BMW M5 is capable of 200+ in production form....One need only remove the vmax setting to accomplish it in the USA....Nitpicking, but true.....

Some engineers must have a really, really difficult time leaving work:
"Mr. Sewell, the track is closing, the lights are out. Please go home, now. Please." |

I've been privy to pics of the 2012 Vette. Before they get removed look for yourself. Is this a "bad ass" machine or what?
