Corvette ZR-1 caught attacking the Nurburgring

http://www.autoblog.com/2008/05/07/s...e-nurburgring/

Quote:
Corvette Chief Engineer (and Autoblog commenter) Tadge Jeuchter said last week that the new ZR1 "will be able to take the production-car track record at any racetrack" and should lap the famed Nurburgring race track in Germany in "seven minutes, twenty-something seconds."
Quote:
The ZR1 is officially being flogged around the Ring as we speak, though no one has yet to report a lap time for this gorgeous red prototype that was spotted by KGP photographers.

I'm gonna go on record and say that all the hype and fanboy flame wars brought on by this car and the GT-R are gonna result in dividing by zero and the internet imploding. I can't wait till somebody, anybody builds an faster equally priced car so this can end.

Re: Corvette ZR-1 caught attacking the Nurburgring

It would be nice to see the ZR1 beat all the supercars but even if it doesn't its still bad-a$$ and I love it regardless of its lap time at the ring. At 638hp it has bragging rights on that alone!

That little window-mounted antenna is sure taking a beating.

I like that color much better than the light blue.
