Re: Chevy Delta2 news...
Still hoping they don't change the Cobalt name.
1. People have a good impression of the Cobalt 2. GM spent a lot of money getting people to know what the heck a Cobalt is 3. Enough with the freaking name changes already!

Re: Chevy Delta2 news...
GM needs to stop changing the names around everytime they change cars. They are sticking with the Impala and Malibu names so they should do the same with the Cobalt.

Welcome to several weeks ago.
Is Internet that scarce in Britain? Cause those pics have been all over the web for a long time. There's even that undisguised, albeit crappy, pic of a white one undergoing some testing. We should send these guys the links. |

Re: Chevy Delta II news...
Impala and Malibu dig back in the past so if they do choose a new name I hope it has some history. They already upset people with calling a rebadged Toyota Corolla a Nova so that is my vote... Nova

Re: Chevy Delta II news...
Those particular spy shots with the triangle-shaped black painted camo make the car look extremely attractive.
And yet, we've seen a few other sites with other shots including the fully-uncovered-in-between-the-trees shot that looked absolutely DREADFUL!! I can't wait to see this thing officially revealed with some video footage so we can finally put to rest if this new car is sexy or not. I've seen pics that range from dead sexy to abhorrent!!! lol. |

Re: Chevy Delta II news...
Since they are going to share the name globally, I can understand killing the Cobalt name. THOUGH I do hope GM starts sticking with names after this.

I'm surprised about the hate for these spy shots. IMO, it looks pretty sharp. At the very least, it looks much more upscale then the current Cobalt. |

Re: Chevy Delta II news...
I can understand dropping Cobalt if they're going for one global name, just like the Corolla or Accord. I'm afraid its going to be one of those "try to please everyone but ends up meaning nothing to no one" names. IMO, names like Epica, Lacetti, Nubira all stink. This is risky. I hope they don't come up with something like Aveo, which is another junk name.
Nova would be good. Especially a modern Nova SS..........

Re: Chevy Delta II news...
Nova blows!! How 'bout Chevette, Citation, Celebrity, Beretta, Corsica, Vega, or Monza. Or maybe they just keep the Cobalt name like any sensible person would do? I'm tired of bringing old nameplates back for no reason.
