It isn't. The Jay Leno Camaro's front bumper simply looks like a modified stock SS bumper. The mail slot is removed, the area where the stock round fog light used to be was hollowed out, squared off, and filled in, and the lower air dam was partially filled in. The geometry looks the same when compared to the stock SS bumper (the SS bumper has a bit of a corner extension around the fog light, we the V6 does not).

Re: Chevrolet Hits SEMA With Five Radical Camaro Concepts

I like the first silver one that is about all. The rest are not bad but I couldn't imagine them selling tons of them. I like the v6 Twin...more then just body changes. I do really like the spoiler on the green Camaro...but that is the only thing I like about that Camaro. Cool concepts though!

Gotta a good laugh out of your woody comment Pontiac Bixler. I agree with your take on the hood and front end. I think we are looking at a fairly close representation of the upcoming Z28. Hopefully they address the issue with steering response and heaviness the SS has on the track.

Most of that, I believe will have to do with the gargantuan soft rubber bushings used on the rear subframe and the front-most control arm. Some mags have complained that the front cradle 'walks' but the front cradle is solid mounted.

Since day one, ive been hoping for a billet phantom grill. The front end just screams for one!
MonaroSS, think you could render ANY Camaro with full face phatnom billet grill?
For an example, here is a phantom grill on my buddy Brian's Blazer:
