Camaro Test Mule Spotted Down Under?

This looks like a chopped commodore body on a short chassis for Camaro?

Link to original is http://www.jalopnik.com/cars/spy-pho...ule-254165.php

Note the shorter wheelbase, cut down rear door, modified C-pillar and bolted on fender flares. For comparison, here's a production Commodore

Re: Camaro mule pic!?!?

It is a commadore body but the wheel base is shorter. They had to cut out part of the back door to make it fit.

It's probably the Camaro chasis and drivetrain put under a Commodore body. The frame of the Camaro is based off of the Commodore frame.

Re: Camaro mule pic!?!?

Is there any significance to spy shots when the car has already been unveiled?

What's been unveiled is a concept which bears very little resemblance - mechanically - to the production car.

Re: Camaro mule pic!?!?

I think it's probably a Zeta coupe mule which would be the new Camaro and other GM Division's Zeta Coupes. I wonder if this mule could be the prototype for a new Monaro?

The big fender flares full of tire and wheel on a full-size car kinda give it away.
