Hear it enough and people will start to take it as the norm. Just need to start building more( I know they are).

GAHHH WHY DID THE SATURN HAVE TO BREAK DOWN ONE YEAR EARLY?!!
If you can't tell, I'm beating myself up for buying an '07 Malibu instead of an '08.

A '93 SW2? 249,000 miles? A year early? She held on for quite some time! A quarter of a million miles is pretty darn good! A Honda would've rusted back into the ground before that happened.

Mmm... not sure, but I think the interior color is the ebony/brick(pumpkin/orange) leather color. It's the only option available on the LTZ in that color which makes no sense to me!

Believe me: What makes this review so good is that it is from a SEATTLE paper. These people are fed Toyo-onda-ssan with their mothers-milk. Truly, I drive through central Seattle everyday and the ratio of imports (overwhelmingly Asian) on the road to domestics is 3 to 1.

Re: Best '08 Malibu Review Yet!

The same car with the same options in Canada lists for $36,600. With the Canadian dollar trading at par with the U.S. dollar G.M. is ripping us off by $8000. I believe Canadians are really annoyed with this gouging. A look at G.M. Canada's dismal December sales(down 28.1%) might just be evidence that the car buying public won't put up with it any longer.

Sorry about that. On a BRIGHTER note, the LS and LT models have more of a selection of interior colors.

True, it was picked up by a Seattle news outlet, but it evidently originated in Texas... the byline is "G. CHAMBERS WILLIAMS III [ of the ]

I didn't see that. Darn. I was hoping things were changing here. I see not.

I agree. They really need to fix this. I applaud them for taking some risk on the interior, but I'm just not interested in that for a daily driver. I'd probably even go with the plain LT just so I could get the ebony suede interior. Maybe someone knows what they're doing with the limited color options on the LTZ......my theory is that if they only offered the ebony or the tan, those would be the only ones on the lot. They wanted to really make a distinction for those shopping Camcords. Just a guess.
