2014 Corvette Rear End and Interior Revealed

Looks like we've got an early Christmas present for all you Corvette aficionados out there. Even more images have surfaced tonight on Corvette Forum that appear to depict the upcoming C7 Corvette's rear end, engine bay and interior.
The images were posted to Corvette Forum by a user who said he's been sent information over several months "by a variety of people," and he won't answer questions as to where they came from.

Note to mods: these photos do not belong to the linked source, they are originally from a Corvette forum here. Therefore they can be presented in the main thread.

    Interior still looks disappointing.

I like that interior design...Like it or not, its a huge improvement over the current design. Can't wait to see this thing.

Seems to look different from the Edmunds images we saw a few days back.

The interior looks straight out of a 1990's C4. Not that it's bad.. I liked the layout, I never liked the materials used to build it. I'm sure the new interior materials will be top notch. The back still looks awful IMO. The side looks like a Ferrari. I can't say if I like it or not. I didn't like the Silverado until it was revealed either and now I love it. I don't know... I'm rather fond of the C6. Come to think of it, I'm rather fond of the C5, C4, C3 and C2.

That's similar to how the rendering on Inside Line looked, but this is much smoother, and not just because of the sleeker roofline.

I'll wait until real pictures are out. Right now without any texture or color it's hard to really judge the interior. But it still looks pretty good to me.

Dat ass. Looking forward to the reveal/full color interior. Iffy on the passenger side at the moment but I expect it'll be broken up with colors.

I like the side profile, but looking at rear end, I instantly think Camaro, not Corvette. Hopefully that changes with the finished product.

Im not feeling the Solstice interior. Hopefully these drawings don't do it justice.

I'm surprised that you think anyone will care what the passenger dash looks like. A good driver will ensure a passenger is looking at (well, through) nothing but glass. And a great driver will have them looking through nothing but door glass! : p Oh, and to see where the competition is, they will be looking through nothing but rear glass!!!

The rear end of this car looks great!!! IT ALL LOOKS GREAT! All of the motor press renderings have swallowed the bait laid by the various test mule's camo. The guys at GM must have been ROTFLTFAO at how much it was believed. Concave shape on the back of a Hi-Po sports car, really? I'm surprised Edmunds didn't sketch a (cartoonish style) boat anchor trailing along behind, while they were at it.

Re: 2014 Corvette Rear End and Interior Revealed

Did anyone else notice the instrument cluster has been chopped/greyed out? This hints at a deliberate leak, maybe? And why not leak it, too. The new 'vette was starting to get a lot of negative press based on the false sketches that were kicking around purporting to be "informed" or even "confirmed". I think it also hints at something significant in that area. I wounded what that could be? Oh well, 3 weeks and we will all know.

I can't wait. It's looking like this will be the first CorvetteGM has released in my living memory that I wish I could own. I wonder if they will be made in right hook?
