I think that's the Europe launch date.

Thumbs up Re: 2011 Chevy Cruze Interior Shown at Paris Auto Show

This Cruze really has a sporty look to it. The Malibu and Aura are nice cars, but they just don't have that "edge" that makes the Cruze really stand out.

I hope GM can get it to the states ASAP. Good job GM.

Re: 2011 Chevy Cruze Interior Shown at Paris Auto Show

09 MY cars start production around july CY 08 which is now. 09's are being produced. Next year in CY09 producuction of MY010's begins again around july. There is a half year offset as there always has been. This is nothing new. The Volt is an 011 MY to start production sometime in CY 010

The Europe launch date for the Cruze is MY 09. ie in about 6 months

Re: 2011 Chevy Cruze Interior Shown at Paris Auto Show

Awesome interior, but what class does this car fall into? Is the Malibu a midsize even though its almost as big as the Impala? Since the Cruze is bigger than the Cobalt, will something fall below the Cruze and the Aveo? I think cobalt-size should be called a compact and this car should be just above compact and just below midsize. Also, any word if this will come as a coupe or not????

Fabric can work if done correctly. My 300zx has fabric and leather on the dash and it still looks new after 17 years.

Actually, its still quite a bit smaller than the Impala. And as for the Cruze being bigger than the Cobalt, we're talking roughly 1.5cm or half an inch. For all intents and purposes, they're the same size.

To add some info to your post, the Volt is supposed to go into production November 2010 CY as a 2011 MY.

Am I seeing things? Is that actually some color in the interior other than tan black or gray? Too bad the exterior isn't nearly as impressive.

Re: 2011 Chevy Cruze Interior Shown at Paris Auto Show

Does anyone know if there is confirmation of any kind of 2dr model coming. The sedan is fine, but I want a coupe, or even some type of funky hatch. I have not seen, nor heard of anything.

Maybe it's because GM is growing very rapidly in oversea markets. I just wish GM could get it to the states sooner because it's a class leading car and it's probably the best small car that GM has ever designed besides the Beat and Volt.

I think GM could build a car designed by God Himself and idiots like her won't consider it.
great just amazing how people stuck on this toyota honda trip. sicking truly sicking!!!

No thanks.... The picture says enough for me.

I was hoping that we would get a little info on what engines to expect here in North America. Has anyone heard anything?

Re: 2011 Chevy Cruze Interior Shown at Paris Auto Show

I always have had faith in the General. And growing up as a kid all I new was GM. Its like a chick you been with for years, when ya'll first met you though she was the hottest thing around! Then the romance starts to fade away and reality sets in? Damn, why are these other chicks looking so damn hot, better than my girl? I love her and all her cousins, **** she got a huge family here they all love and feel like here. What can I do to bring the love back? A day at the spa for a wax job...humm, still nothing. Yet, I'm still faithful to her, somethings gotta give here! She notices you not showing here much attention anymore like when ya'll first met, she see you looking at that Honda with its sweet curves and powerful motor purring in your ear, she starts losing sales, but not hope. She heads off to Dr 90210 for some good old fashion plastic surgery ya'll. She comes back a total knock out! Now, not only do you fall in awww, erveryone else notices her as well (wondeful how alittle sales decline can go along way), and its only a matter of time when other guys and gals will want her; Its the new General Motors. Thanks GM, I've always been faithful to you and always will be, even though that faunty V6 with CVT Altima keeps struttin by! God Bless GM and American Autoworkers. Re-build the USA! not giving Japan or Korea our money by the ship loads!

Definitly my next car. So I have time to save up until it comes out in 2 years.
