What vehicle does Chevy have that competes with the Escape/RAV 4 if thats the case?

I don't believe they have one. What vehicle does Chevy have that competes with the Edge/Venza if it's not the case?

Well until you mentioned it I thought it was the Equinox, but now that you mention it I think this new Equinox is really more of an Edge/Venza competitor.

I believe the traverse competes with the edge more that equinox,
edge is wider and longer the equinox more in like with traverse.
And the venxa that is just a slightly raised wagon. Like the original forester Not in the same catagory at all.

Re: 2010 Equinox Dates, Details, Colors Emerge

Wait I take that back. Maybe your right. I just looked at the specs for the equinox an compared it to the Edge.
Nox wheelbase 112.5 in - Edge wheelbase 111.2 in
Nox length 187.8 in - Edge Length 185.7
Nox width 72.5 in - Edge 75.8 in
Nox hieght 66.3 in - Edge 67.0 in
And so on...
Here is the source for the spec for the Nox if anyone was interested.
http://jalopnik.com/5115096/2010-che...yline=true&s=i

The wider look of the edge makes it seem like a larger vehicle.

And you are right about the zenza it is more in line with those too. But I think it may not be as high.
That vehicle just looks weird.
Sorry should have done a little more research before I type. I think I looked at that before but slipped my mind.

So if it is in line with those vehicles. That means the starting price will be about 25,000

Re: 2010 Equinox Dates, Details, Colors Emerge

Comparing a little deaper with the old trailblazer and blazer before that.
It is in between those two. Slightly larger than the blazer but slightly smaller than the trailblazer.

And that is another thing I don't get. They consider the Equinox a crossover and the blazer an offroad suv. But the new nox has a higher ground clearence, bigger wheels, and a wider track by almost 10 in. Even the wheel base is wider.

How is that not an off road SUV?

Take a look for yourself.

LOOKS AMAZING! Looks way better than the current model. I would buy one! It has the look of the Cadillac SRX, and Mercedes-Benz M-Class but smaller. GM is finally deciding to change this up-coming line-up/models to look unique I hope.

I was thinking this would look good in my driveway...

Hey Holden, here is your new Captiva MaXX!

looks a bit bigger than my Captiva (112" wheelbase Vs about 108") could sit on top of the range. Supposedly free trade between USA & Aus.

Have dealers started taking orders yet? I am really interested in one, but kinda afraid to order one because of GM's problems. I was just wondering if that is a rational concern.

Chevy's GM baby. If any division is considered "safe", it's Chevy.

Re: 2010 Equinox Dates, Details, Colors Emerge

I just towed my parents 98 Caravan home tonight. My dad said they might buy an Equinox, (He liked the new one his neighbour got) I told him to wait for the brand new one coming out so we will see.

I know. I mean, how stupid can GM get? Making its best seller and one of its highest profit divisions its main brand? GM gets stupider by the minute

I wonder how many pre-orders there are for this?
