Re: 2010/2011 Camaro Z28 prototype model image !
Hasn't it been established time and again that a new Z28 isn't happening?

Re: 2010/2011 Camaro Z28 prototype model image !
The Z was developed w/ the convertable if I'm not mistaken. The fact the these images are only surfacing now, to me, says that its DOA.
Shame too. This car would have been epic and would have sold easily. It would have been $50k+ and almost 2 tons. That's a shame as well.

Re: 2010/2011 Camaro Z28 prototype model image !
I think this car is seriously necessary in the pony car wars. a specialty vehicle with suspension upgrades and a detuned version of the LSA would fit the bill. For costs reasons the LS7 is out of the question. I would have no issue with a 540HP version of the CTS-V's motor powering this car

What is that white light radiating from the asian dude's crotch? What powers are they using to design these cars? No wonder people buy japanese cars. I could never (ever) figure out why someone would by a Toyota until now.

Not really. If you've talked to Mr. Settlemire lately aka the FBodFather, you'll see he says the Z28 isn't dead, just not happening within a year or two.

Re: 2010/2011 Camaro Z28 prototype model image !
A Mock up? Hardly. This car seems finished to production quality while Bumblebee is looking quite aftermarket. I believe Bumblebee in TF2 is just a Preview of the Z/28. And if it was a Mock up, I think it'd be Yellow, wouldn't have a Z/28 badge, and wouldn't be in GM's Official Design Center.

oh dear god at LEAST use the body style cues on the SS or some thing if this is not going to be green lighted! If worst comes to worst, I think a tuned LS3 with some suspension upgrades and bigger breaks would make a nice Z28. I just really love this style !

Re: 2010/2011 Camaro Z28 prototype model image !
The regular Camaro is already gorgeous, but this "improved" Z28 front end is sooo much better!
![]() If they build it... it's definitely going to be in my top 3 of the most beautiful cars currently in production, all categories. |
