Very close to the one in that Motortrend article a few months back, eh?

Who couldn't guess Bumblebees exterior upgrades were not a foreshadowing to the Z28 design. Although it sounds like it is dead.

Bumblebee = Z28.
Ugh...big heavy supercharged V8. Most of me is very glad that the Z28 that was dreamed up, never came to be.

not a big surprise here... definitely what Bumblebee is/was going to be at that time...
love the revised hood and grille... shame we probably won't see it. I detest the "mailslot" opening on the SS |

Re: 2010/2011 Camaro Z28 prototype model image !
HEY! That bottom of the front bar in this picture looks like it has a few similarities to the Holden VZ Monaro front bar - like it was crossed with some SSV front DNA and then got wrapped around some Camaro DNA.

Decent design but will they build it is the question. I would love to see a blue Z/28 convertible with white stripes and interior in my driveway. I just dont see GM with the guts/management to build it right now.

The absurdity of this statement can not be put into words.

As if the Z28 can't replace SS in production and have SS be the blown beast.
I do not care what it is called. Call it d-bag edition and it would still rock. BUILD IT NOW. F#$% what the government wants. Buyers want this car. |

Re: 2010/2011 Camaro Z28 prototype model image !
Sweet I'd love to see GM go and build this car. The Last i heard the Z28 was put on indefinite hold and not killed so it's probably still alive.
And in a response to a post i read on Camaro5 in most cases the SS is the top model for cars like the Impala, Monte Carlo etc. But in the Camaros case if you look at the history of this car you'll notice that the SS and Z28 models have flip flopped designations for years (Z28 was top model for some years SS for other years) As for the Book It seems to be a good read and I might go ahead and buy a copy for myself

Dude... get a sense of humor... It's ok to recognize that Obama has some flawed politics... just as much as the next dude... getting back on subject here... I would love to see the Z28 make it into production along side the SS... My preference would be that the SS be the highest ranking Camaro and the Z28 be the current SS specs... but, one cannot have his way all the time... Bring that beast to market!!! Or, as I would figure... these clay models are for aftermarket parts... you never know!!!

Re: 2010/2011 Camaro Z28 prototype model image !
Hmm...You can almost see the Z28 badge in the grille if you look hard enough.
Also, there seems to be a bit of Holden inspiration for the new bumper. I like. An indicator of things to come perhaps? Chevy/Holden? I mean...Holden is getting the Cruze. Err, This can't be for aftermarket parts. Look in the big picture on the page in the link. The convertible is sitting right next to it. It's not out yet. Isn't that Sangyup Lee in the picture...if I'm not mistaken...? Might be.
