You're right...

Tough times are ahead. A brand new car is not in the cards. My new (to me) 16 year old Accord serves the purpose extremely well. And it's paid off!

Well the caption says "Chevrolet Yukon". Are we sure this is actually a Yukon? Which part of the name did the reporter get wrong? It might very well be a Tahoe.

Wrong. It's the Tahoe. DetNews screwed up. The reason I know this is because the new Tahoe was the only GMT-900 shown outside (they didn't want the others to be photographed), while the rest of the GMT-900's were in the Design Dome.

Re: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe REVEALED!

The new Tahoe will do jsut fine, they improved on a already home run vehicle by a very huge margin. I think that the Tahoe is safe in its respective market for another 5 years easy.

I cant wait to see GMCs version and CAdillac's version as well as Hummers version of this vehicle. I also cant wait to see the trucks and what they can do.

Great Job

Wow that is an awesome interior. Just makes u wonder why GM didnt build all their cars and trucks like this in the first place. They would have been in so much better shape financially. Hopefully, all their future products would have class leading interior like this. The exterior looks a tad bland though but certainly not ugly.

The Ion was the car that made me almost loose faith with GM… I could not fathom how anyone with a brain to run an automobile company could approve such a car for the market especially in this day and age (the corolla was new then) and give it a lousy interior, lousy rims, lousy mpg and expect to stay in business…

Lets just say, nothing was done right with the ION, the steering wheel was nothing short of evil…and sinful

Thank god it now has the Cobalt wheel. The Saturn steering wheels are friggin' ugly as sin.

Re: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe REVEALED!

I think it looks terrible.

It looks like a big, bland, cardboard box. It's hardly the exciting or groundbreaking design GM needs to ensure it's a bonafide home run.

Remember, GM is banking the entire company on these fullsize trucks. They should be segment leaders which includes fresh and exciting styling. As it is it looks like a giant Toyota Highlander instead of a Chevrolet Tahoe to me.

Fuel prices are skyrocketing and GM is betting the entire farm on this thing. It baffles me they wouldn't give it any sort of street presence which would help it overcome the sting of fuel costs let alone the heady competition. It doesn't have a look people will truly covet.

GM created a ground breaking look with the Equinox, and I find it hard to believe they would not adapt many of those cues to the redesigned Tahoe to set it apart. The Equinox is an interesting, unique design. The new Tahoe looks thoroughly forgettable and uninspired. If it looked like a big, refined Equinox, it would be stylishand give Chevrolet it's own unique design language much like the 1994 Ram did for Dodge trucks.

As it is it looks vanilla and Toyota makes better vanilla. Much better vanilla. Chevrolet should never have become a vanilla car brand.
