The REAL cost of 2$ vs 3$/gallon gasoline is 600-700$ more a year for most drivers.
That is around 2$ A DAY!

Anyone currently with an SUV is a potential buyer imo. I'd say 99% of the people who can afford these big SUVs can afford the gas, therefor they could care less. I understand exactly what you're thinking but there is no way the gas prices are going to effect sales THAT much.

So this is what was in front of the Camaro and other RWD developement.... It better sell like hell because I like the last gen. better. I do like the interior changes but the Media is going to bash them once again. Why do they like BMWs so much I was in two different ones a week ago for 800+ miles in each. The interior sucks on them. My grandmas 97 Buick is nicer.

Not a very big step on the exterior. Interior is light years better, although every GM interior, from LaCrosse to the minivans to this Tahoe are starting to look about the same. That's fine, you say? Well, how's the character of this Chevy really any different than a Buick? Although when looking at the old interior, how can you complain? But on the other hand, GM's becoming a mish-mash of several divisions that are tougher and tougher to distinguish, with very few striking models. It's alot of nicely executed but conservative stuff, 1999-style. I guess, if the Tahoe and Escalade really stand out, then I'll retract. If Chevy's going bland, then the others can afford to be more aggressive. Even Toyota's actually starting to look more bold than GM in the truck sectors.

release is an industry-exclusive feature. Simply
pushing a button in the overhead console or a
button in one of the rear-door pillars automatically
unlatches the seat(s) and sends it into its folded

most people who buy these things lease them. they cant really afford to pay cash for them, so they pay in monthly installments. price of gas will have a huge effect in sales of these things and resale values arent going to be good as a result.

Alot of people who own these things are not rich, they are average middle class people. if you want to get into the escalade fine but the tahoe, explorer expedition type of things are middle class, people who care alot about the price of gas.
